What do we have here? A beautiful girl named Ayumi, a fearless treasure hunter who is about to take the journey of her life. It all starts when she finds a map leading to the most powerful artifact ever. Driven by the smell of adventure but also the money she can get on selling the artifact, she makes the mistake of touching the artifact (which is said to contain all the power of some great great god) therefore catching a curse. The guardian of the artifact called “The Enlightened” teleports her to an unknown realm where she must fight her way out.
First of all, just take a look at how Ayumi is dressed. Why would the developers make her wear a bra and thong if they want gamers (95% males) to actually play the game instead of looking at her ass?
Besides her good looks, Ayumi wields two swords and a gun in her defense. Some enemies can be killed only with melee and range attacks or magic. When battling and defeating foes, experience and rage points are gained; experience allows you to buy new skills and magic attacks while rage will be needed to unleash these magic attacks.
The interface is basic, with a health bar that will automatically recharge when out of combat, a rage bar, how many exp points you have, and 4 magic skills you can activate in battle. Graphically speaking, Ayumi is designed with that cool video effect from Prince of Persia, and by the looks of it, you can say that she’s a cool character from an anime movie
Even with the graphic settings at max with 16x anti-aliasing and 16x anisotropic filtering the game runs really fast with no problem at all. Will keep you updated with the adventures of Ayumi in X-Blades
